While NoMAD is primarily developed in English, we have taken steps to ensure that it can be easily translated into a number of languages.
NoMAD uses the standard .xliff files for most of the UI elements and some of the other text in the application. Since we’re special, we also have a string extension to allow for translation of other items, such as menu items.
As of NoMAD 1.0.3 beta, the application has been localized for English and French.
If you would like to help translate NoMAD, we’d be happy to send you all the relevant files. There are two plist files that need to be translated, comprising about 60 total phrases.
If you have any corrections or additions with a localization, please file a bug at our GitLab page.
