Swift Programming Intern 
Looking for an entry-level Swift programmer interested in getting more experience contributing in all ways to a macOS application with a global installed base. Duties to include working with other developers on UI, authentication, Kerberos, LDAP and MDM interaction. Initial work will include working on NoMAD, nomad.menu, to implement new features, help with documentation both at the API and the end user level, and work on extending the build system. Most of your work would most likely be open-sourced with personal attribution associated with it. Additional projects may also be assigned including hardware-based and web technologies. Introductory Swift knowledge is the primary requisite. Ability to write good documentation, work with a team and think independently are also highly valued. Additional languages and experience such as Python, Javascript, Chrome plugins, and web APIs would be valuable but not required.

• Job would be part time, 15-20 hours a week, remotely, preferably within the Austin area, but will consider other areas in the U.S.
• At least 60 hours of college study and an affinity for all things Apple.
• No benefits to be provided at this time, besides a flexible schedule.
• Own your own Macintosh computer.
• There is an opportunity for job to become full-time or for an extension of the internship after February 2018, depending on our company’s growth.
• Possible travel opportunities to conferences.
• $15 per hour Orchard & Grove Inc., is a application development start-up firm based in South Austin.
